SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the high quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The sassa status check services point created for intervention ordeals a SRD significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all consumers and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
